Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of digital products sold by ComponentKit ("we", "our", or "us") at componentkit.co. By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. The product

ComponentKit sells digital products — specifically Framer component files (.framer) and accompanying documentation (PDF guides). These are intangible digital goods delivered electronically. No physical product is shipped.

2. Purchase and delivery

Upon successful payment via Dodo Payments, you will receive an email containing a download link for your purchased product. This email is sent to the address you provide at checkout, typically within 5 minutes. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and contact us at support@componentkit.co.

Download links expire after 7 days. If your link expires before you download the file, contact us and we will issue a new one at no charge.

3. License

When you purchase a ComponentKit product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the component in:

• Unlimited personal projects
• Unlimited commercial client projects
• Framer sites you build for yourself or on behalf of clients

This license does not permit you to:

• Resell, redistribute, or share the component file or documentation with anyone who has not purchased it
• Include the component as part of a template, kit, or product that you sell or give away
• Claim authorship of the original component design
• Upload the file to any marketplace, file-sharing service, or public repository

Each purchase covers one buyer. Teams or agencies requiring access for multiple people should purchase one license per team member, or contact us to discuss a team arrangement.

4. Intellectual property

All component files, documentation, and associated materials remain the intellectual property of ComponentKit. Your license grants you the right to use the component, not to own it or re-license it. Unauthorized redistribution may result in license termination and legal action.

5. Updates

We may release updated versions of components to fix bugs or improve compatibility with new versions of Framer. Buyers receive these updates at no additional cost. We will notify you by email when a significant update is available.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our products or website to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Engage in fraudulent chargebacks after receiving your product
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract proprietary logic from the component beyond normal Framer usage

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the component will be compatible with every future version of Framer, though we commit to maintaining compatibility as a best effort. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our products.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComponentKit's total liability to you for any claim arising from the purchase or use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question — a maximum of $5 USD.

10. Governing law
